My approach was to use a photo of Shirley Manson in front of beautiful floral fabric in reds and blues, with her hair pulled up and adorned with monkey skulls. I changed her picture to a 3 
color posterized composition. Then, I filled in the shadows with horizontal black ink and 
blended several textures of water color, waxy paper and floral fabric patterns into the 
background, adding black birds flying behind her.

The title is cut out of the poster, revealing  and casting shadows on the painted layer behind.
The poster is asymmetrical and the CD cover is symmetrical. So they are slightly different with common visual elements.
